I am a
postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Economics at the
University of Milan-Bicocca. After finishing my undergraduate degree in
economics and business in 2004, I enrolled in the Scottish Graduate
Programme in Economics. I completed an M.Sc. at the University of
Edinburgh, U.K. in 2005, and a Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow, U.K., in 2009,
under the supervision of Campbell
Leith and Ioana
Moldovan.
My reasearch interests include macroeconomic theory, interactions between
monetary and fiscal policy and optimal policy. In summer 2008 I visited the
Monetary Policy Strategy Division at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.
